LEAD WELL Conference Fall 2024

Leading yourself, team, or organization can be challenging. This conference will offer insights in developing your professional skills and also learning to help develop the skills of those you lead. With speakers who share experiences and practical insights, participants will leave the conference with actionable steps to integrate into work.

Dr. Amy Thompson - CEO Covenant Health Lubbock

Dr. Amy Thompson, CEO of Covenant Health for the Lubbock Service area and is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics for Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. She is a Red Raider – obtaining her undergraduate and Doctor of Medicine from TTU. She has received numerous awards and honors for being excellent in her field. She enjoys running, reading and bible study along with overseas travel where she often can be found doing medical mission work. She loves her family – she and her husband Dusty have three children – Cody, Roman, and JJ.

Robin Raney - CEO of Goodwill Northwest Texas

Robin Raney is the President and CEO of Goodwill Industries of Northwest Texas and is passionate about the mission of “helping people overcome challenges, build skills, find jobs and grow careers. Her experiences as a parent of a special needs young adult motivates her to help others discover their abilities, following her philosophy that the disability that must be overcome is a bad attitude. As a member of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee of Goodwill Industries International, she advocates for employment and job skills training for differently-abled individuals. Robin previously served as Vice President of Business Development for the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce, the CEO of the American Red Cross South Plains Regional Chapter and a buyer for Corporate Neiman Marcus. She has served on the Board of Workforce Solutions South Plains, the Board of Trustees for StarCare Specialty Health System and the City of Lubbock Committee Development and Services Board. Robin and her husband, Don, grew up in Alabama and are fans of all University of Alabama sports, even naming their dog, Bear Bryant, after a famous Alabama coach. They have two young adult children and their shared hobby is gardening.

Cole Whisenhunt - Founder of Whisenhunt Group at Keller Williams Realty

Cole Whisenhunt founded the Whisenhunt Group at Keller Williams Realty in 2014. In his profession, Cole serves as a team leader, realtor, and mentor, and is best known in his vast network for serving others with humility and authenticity. At home, Cole is a husband to Abbi, and a father to their four children. Most importantly, he is a follower of Christ. While Cole is an accomplished professional, he is most driven by supporting others in their own life journey. He uses his time and talents to inspire and encourage others to maximize their potential and God-given abilities. He embraces his role as leader to many, and he embodies this through volunteerism as a youth sports coach, a lifelong mentor, and a prayerful friend.

Dr. Kathy Crockett - Executive Coach, Speaker, Corporate Trainer

Dr. Kathy Crockett is an executive coach and partners with organizations in customized strategic planning, employee leadership development, speaking and training.  She has served as a university professor in business for over 25 years. She also served as Interim President for an organization that had a unexpected crisis and worked to transition the organization to new leadership. Kathy is chair of the board for the Pure Hope Foundation and an executive board member for Parkridge Medical Clinic and Mission Lazarus.
